Twilight star Robert Pattinson has been spotted in the Glens of Antrim, amid smoke and explosions.

The 29-year-old is in Northern Ireland filming for Brad Pitt's movie The Lost City of Z alongside Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam and actress Sienna Miller.

On Thursday Pattinson was identified by his bushy beard on set dressed in soldiers clothing.

A huge film set has been erected in the hills for a battle scene and man-made trenches can be spotted in pictures.
